Betty Davis, age 94, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the West Hill Assisted Living in Macon, Georgia.
Betty was born May 29, 1932 in Chavies, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Tucker Bowling and Katie Deaton Bowling. Betty was the widow of Ronald Davis who passed away on June 18, 2013. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who spent her life in testimony of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Betty is survived by two daughters; Linda Dianne Knose (Lee) of Marco Island, Florida and Gena Baldwin (Harry) of Forsyth, Georgia, two grandchildren; Jaynea Thayer of Forsyth, Georgia and Brian Gibson (Kristi) of Plano, Texas, 3 great grandchildren; Lauren, Will and Hunter, one brother; Don Deaton and many other loving family members and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Tucker and Katie Bowling and husband, Ronald Davis, four brothers; Clyde, Clarence, J.T and Charlie Bowling, two sisters; Carrie Bowling and Agnes Terry.
Graveside service at Bowling Family Cemetery of Owsley County, Sept. 30, 2026. Scott Brandenburg officiating. The Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
