Kay Taylor, age 61, wife of Elmer Taylor, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the ARH Advanced Care in Hazard, KY. Kay was born February 23, 1964, in Booneville, KY, a daughter to the late Albert Deaton and Bonnie (Marshall) Deaton. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds and shopping. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Elmer Taylor, 1 sister; Margie (Jolly) Cooper of Booneville, KY, and many other loving family members and friends.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Bonnie Deaton, 2 sons; Travis Taylor and Elmer Taylor Jr, 1 sister; Mary Lou McIntosh and 4 brothers; Dennis, Albert Kenneth, Floyd and Larry Deaton. Funeral service held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Booneville Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Morgan officiating. Burial in the Griffith Cemetery in Booneville, KY. The Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
