KY 1411 in Owsley County to be closed Thursday, July 17

JACKSON, Ky. – Drivers who use KY 1411 in Owsley County will need to find an alternate route on Thursday, July 17. The road will be closed at milepoint 0.9 for replacement of a drainage pipe. This location is 0.9 miles north of KY 30. Work will begin at 7 a.m. and should be completed by 4 p.m.

No marked detour will be posted. Drivers can use KY 30 and KY 11 through Lee County as an alternate route to bypass the closure. County-maintained routes are also available.

In case of inclement weather, the closure may be postponed until another suitable date.

Approximately 250 vehicles use this section of KY 1411 each day.
