Kenneth Lee Spencer

Kenneth Lee Spencer, age 82, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 at his residence in Lexington, KY.

Kenneth was born January 3, 1942 in Booneville, KY, a son to the late Lewis and Nevelyn Spencer. He was part-owner, and operator of Spencer’s Dairy Bar. In his spare-time he loved visiting with family, traveling, flying drones, playing spoons, singing, and he loved animals.

Along with his wife of 15 years; Charolette Spencer, he is survived by 1 daughter; Leah (James) Begley of London, KY, 1 son; Sammy Spencer of Lexington, KY, 1 step-son; Ronnie P. (Harley) Skeens of London, KY, 4 grand-daughters; Kylee, Brandi, Whitney, and Kyleigh, 2 grandsons; Michael and James, 9 great-grandchildren; Aria, Madison, Owen, Bradley, Connor, Sophia, Matti, Ellie Joe, and Everly, his K-9 friend; Little Mister, as well as many other loving family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Lewis and Nevelyn Spencer, sister; Hilda Baker, brother-in-law; Robert Baker, brother; Randall Spencer, all of Booneville, KY, and his wife of 20 years; Phyllis (Burch) Spencer.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Booneville Funeral Home, with Pastor Brandon Davis officiating. He will be laid to rest in The Shepherd’s Memorial Cemetery located in Booneville, KY.
