David Burke

David Burke, age 50, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at UK Good Samaritan Hospital, located in Lexington, KY.

David was born September 3, 1973 in Jenkins, KY, a son of Evelyn (Fields) Burke and the late Joe Burke Sr. He was self-employed, enjoyed volunteering with the Beattyville Shriners Club, and enjoyed livestock farming, collecting knives, and his beloved cats.

He is survived by his mother; Evelyn Burke of Beattyville, KY, 1 brother; Joe Burke Jr. of Whitesburg, KY, long-time companion; Maxine Terry of Beattyville, KY, and a host of friends, and other loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father; Joe Burke Sr., 1 brother; Kennth Burke, and 1 sister; Sharon Burke.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Booneville Funeral Home, with Brother Jason Lykins officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, located in Booneville, KY.
