Middle Kentucky Community Action Partnership has appointed Beth Spencer as the new Executive Director.

Spencer has been with the company for 22 years serving as the Program Director for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University.

Spencer stepped into the leadership role at Middle Kentucky effective March 14 2024. She is replacing retiring Executive Director, Darrel Shouse. He has served 23 years as Executive Director.

Middle Kentucky Community Action Partnership is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in 1965. It was established to provide and promote necessary services to low income families in Eastern Kentucky in the counties of Breathitt, Lee, Owsley, and Wolfe Counties.

Middle Kentucky Community Action Partnership's mission is to eliminate barriers, and empowering individuals and families to achieve economic security through programs and services by partnering with other service providers in our communities.
